Julius Bär seeks an Account Manager in Geneva to support Relationship Managers with complex client account administration, documentation, and operational tasks in a full-time capacity.
This position focuses on the administrative and operational backbone of client relationships rather than direct client acquisition. The incumbent supports Relationship Managers by handling account documentation, processing transactions, and ensuring data accuracy, while serving as a model for service quality within the team.
Responsibilities
- Assist Relationship Managers and internal teams with all aspects of client interactions.
- Manage incoming communications and ensure immediate, appropriate action is taken.
- Keep client records, instructions, and preference profiles current and accurate.
- Generate system reports to support Relationship Managers in their daily work.
- Deliver factual information and data to clients without offering financial advice or value judgments.
- Process client orders, trades, payments, and transactions outside of digital channels.
- Lead or participate in internal projects to resolve administrative issues and maintain system integrity.
- Share insights, research, and ideas with colleagues to enhance process efficiency.
- Document work processes, conduct self-reviews, and plan future tasks diligently.
- Propose professional improvements based on observed incidents or operational experience.
- Serve as the first line of defense by identifying risks, following up on issues, and escalating concerns when needed.
- Relay client feedback to relevant departments to drive continuous service improvement.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in servicing banking clients with complex needs.
- Strong understanding of the Middle East region, including its legal, regulatory, and cultural landscape.
- Exceptional organizational abilities with a capacity to work quickly, independently, and accurately under pressure.
- A proactive, friendly, and solution-oriented team player.
- Impeccable presentation and communication skills.
- A deep passion for client service and a highly service-oriented mindset.
- Strong integrity, ethical standards, and risk awareness combined with a client-focused approach.
- Advanced knowledge of global financial markets and current industry developments.
- Fluency in both French and English, written and spoken.
- Proficient skills in MS Office applications.
- Strict adherence to all compliance, legal, and internal regulatory guidelines.
