Account Manager CEE

Vontobel Asset Management seeks an Account Manager CEE in Zürich to oversee client portfolios, drive revenue, and ensure compliance within a collaborative, agile environment.

This position supports the Central and Eastern Europe desk by prioritizing client needs while managing the financial performance and operational workload of the assigned book. The role acts as the primary expert for account administration, risk monitoring, and compliance, guiding relationship managers and ensuring seamless account lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Manage a dedicated client portfolio with a strong focus on addressing client requirements.
• Oversee the revenue generation of the book, including work volume and client demand.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for account administration, handling cash management, transfers, stock exchange orders, and fiduciary deposit renewals.
• Monitor risk and compliance indicators to proactively identify potential issues.
• Advise relationship managers on KYC procedures, assist in organizing client meetings, and help prepare investment proposals.
• Facilitate the efficient opening and closing of client accounts.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a comparable role within the banking sector.
• Fluent proficiency in both German and English.
• Solid understanding of financial products and market dynamics.
• Strong IT capabilities, including expertise in MS Office and other relevant software tools.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the Russian language.
• Interest in Artificial Intelligence and a readiness to adopt AI-enabled tools and workflows.
