AMS Test Specialist

Avaloq seeks a Mid-level Test Specialist in Bioggio, CH, to manage test campaigns, environments, and release processes for client software maintenance and End of Period simulations.

The Test Management Team oversees test campaigns for client application landscapes during SIT and UAT phases. This role involves planning and managing End of Period tests, such as quarterly and yearly simulations, while maintaining ownership of test environments, including refreshes, installations, and readiness assessments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee release processes for software changes related to Avaloq products.
• Plan and coordinate test campaigns for monthly client releases (UPL) and Hot Fixes (EME).
• Organize End of Period test simulations for all clients.
• Ensure test environments are available for Client UAT.
• Track and share test results with management and clients.
• Define content scope for UPL and EME releases and collaborate with Release Management.
• Manage client acceptance environment usage plans across projects and AMS for each client.
• Coordinate bug fix installations with Development and Release Management.
• Perform compliance and audit Key Controls.
• Maintain client relationships through appropriate communication.
• Manage defects and reporting.
• Administer testing tools, defect tracking, and statistics.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of Test Management processes and procedures.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of Test concepts and methodology.
• At least 3 years of experience in the banking and/or finance industry.
• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite and Jira.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving competences.
• Structured and rigorous approach.
• Team player and strong client-orientation.
• Ability and flexibility to work in a highly challenging environment.

Nice to have

• ISTQB Certification or equivalent.
