AMS Test Specialist

Avaloq1 seeks a Mid-Senior AMS Test Specialist in Bioggio, CH, for a permanent hybrid role. The position involves managing test campaigns, release processes, and client environments for Avaloq banking solutions, with a focus on SIT, UAT, and End of Period testing.

The Test Management Team oversees test campaigns during SIT and UAT phases for client application maintenance, plans and manages End of Period tests, and owns test environment readiness, including refreshes and software installations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee release processes for software changes related to Avaloq products
• Coordinate and plan test campaigns for monthly client releases (UPL) and Hot Fixes (EME)
• Plan and execute End of Period test simulations for all clients
• Ensure test environments are available for client UAT activities
• Track and share test results with management and clients
• Provide content scope for UPL and EME releases and coordinate with Release Management
• Manage client acceptance environment usage across projects and AMS
• Coordinate bug fix installations with Development and Release Management
• Perform compliance and audit key controls
• Maintain client relationships through appropriate communication
• Manage defect tracking and reporting
• Manage testing tools, defect tracking, and statistical reporting
• Support continuous improvement of Test Management processes

Requirements

• Deep understanding of test concepts and methodologies
• Minimum 3 years of experience in banking or finance
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and Jira
• Strong presentation and communication abilities
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Structured and meticulous work approach
• Team-oriented with a client-focused mindset
• Adaptability in a demanding, fast-paced environment

Nice to have

• ISTQB Certification or equivalent qualification
• Prior experience with the Avaloq banking system solution
