This role involves designing and managing architectural projects in Gstaad, a renowned Alpine resort in Switzerland, with a focus on residential developments.
Responsibilities
- Create architectural plans, blueprints, and drawings for residential structures.
- Work with clients, engineers, and construction teams to ensure designs align with project goals and regulations.
- Perform site visits and surveys to evaluate project feasibility and collect essential data.
- Develop and present design proposals, including 3D models and visualizations, to clients and stakeholders.
- Supervise construction, manage contractors, monitor progress, and address any emerging issues.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning laws, and other regulatory standards.
- Stay informed about industry advancements, materials, and technologies to apply innovative design approaches.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to deliver projects successfully.
- Guide and support junior team members as needed.
Requirements
- Architectural degree from an accredited institution.
- Demonstrated experience as an Architect, supported by a portfolio of completed projects.
- Strong skills in architectural design tools including AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
- Highly developed design and visualization abilities with attention to detail and aesthetics.
- Solid knowledge of building systems, construction techniques, and materials.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients and teams.
- Capability to handle multiple projects at once and manage priorities efficiently.
- Fluency in English, German, or French.
- Authorization to work in Switzerland.
