SDI Human Resources GmbH seeks a mid-level Interior Decorator for a full-time, onsite role in Gstaad, Switzerland. The position involves maintaining and enhancing interior spaces in properties and warehouses, requiring skills in repair, design, and client collaboration. Candidates must be authorized to work in Switzerland and speak German, French, or English.

This role focuses on preserving and upgrading the interior environments of properties and warehouse facilities in Gstaad, Switzerland, with an emphasis on both functionality and visual appeal. The decorator ensures spaces meet high aesthetic and operational standards through hands-on maintenance and design work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out various repair and maintenance tasks to keep properties in optimal condition.
• Install and fix fixtures, fittings, and appliances, ensuring safety and proper operation.
• Support interior design efforts by planning spaces, choosing furniture, and coordinating colors to improve visual appeal.
• Source materials, furnishings, and accessories that match client preferences and budget limits.
• Work with clients, architects, and contractors to create and implement design concepts according to project specifications.
• Keep tools, equipment, and supplies organized and in good working order.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for deliveries, installations, and repairs.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in all areas, including common spaces, living areas, and storage zones.
• Address maintenance requests and emergencies quickly and efficiently.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and techniques to apply innovative design solutions.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Handyman or Interior Designer, supported by a portfolio of completed projects.
• Strong skills in plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and painting.
• Creative interest in interior design with attention to detail and visual quality.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities to work well with clients and teams.
• Capability to handle multiple projects at once and manage priorities effectively.
• Resourcefulness and problem-solving ability to address design and maintenance issues creatively.
• Authorization to work in Switzerland.
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
