ASAP: Visual Designer (Creative Services)

Michael Page seeks a mid-level Visual Designer for an interim role in Zürich. The position involves creating visual content for corporate communications, ensuring brand consistency, and managing projects end-to-end. Candidates need a design background, 5+ years of experience, and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Mac OS.

This role supports corporate communications by developing visual content for online platforms, events, and leadership messaging. The designer will create modern, concept-driven visuals aligned with brand standards and communication goals, while managing projects from start to finish and collaborating with internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality visual materials for corporate communications, including digital platforms, events, and leadership messaging.
• Design innovative and contemporary creative concepts that support communication objectives.
• Maintain brand consistency by adhering to visual standards across all channels.
• Work with internal teams and offer guidance on visual communication initiatives.
• Oversee projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
• Keep current with design trends, tools, and emerging technologies, including GenAI.
• Use strong conceptual skills to turn abstract ideas into effective visual results.

Requirements

• A degree or apprenticeship in Graphic Design (EFZ/CFC or Bachelor’s level).
• At least five years of relevant experience, preferably in an agency or fast-paced corporate setting.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Mac OS.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to think conceptually and translate ideas into engaging visuals.
• Demonstrated project management skills and capacity to juggle multiple tasks.
• Self-motivated, structured work approach with strong prioritization under pressure.
• Team-focused attitude and strong collaboration abilities.
• Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
