Proton seeks a Mid-level Web & Visual Designer in Geneva to craft high-converting marketing sites and uphold the Proton Design System, focusing on user experience rather than product interfaces.
Positioned within the Creative & Growth Studio, this role concentrates exclusively on storefront and marketing websites rather than product design. The primary objective is to deliver a top-tier web experience for proton.me and protonvpn.com, guiding visitors through Proton's privacy ecosystem while ensuring high engagement and conversion.
Responsibilities
- Develop wireframes, concepts, and high-fidelity mockups that comply with established web UX and UI standards.
- Design visually compelling website assets that align with brand guidelines and prioritize conversion-oriented principles.
- Build interactive prototypes to demonstrate user flows, information architecture, and interface behaviors for testing.
- Implement modern UI patterns to ensure responsive and consistent designs across desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms.
- Collaborate with marketing, content, engineering, and design teams to produce high-quality user experiences.
- Contribute to the Proton Design System by creating and updating reusable components.
Requirements
- Minimum of four years of professional experience as a Web or UI Designer.
- Proven ability to produce web-optimized visuals that strictly adhere to brand identity guidelines.
- Strong capability to articulate design decisions and present work effectively to stakeholders.
- Excellent command of the English language for communication.
- Proficiency in industry-standard tools, specifically Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite.
Nice to have
- Experience integrating AI tools into the creative workflow.
- Background in motion design, animation, or illustration.
