Motion Designer

Proton seeks a Mid-level Motion Designer in Geneva to lead motion strategy and create high-quality animations for its products, web, and marketing channels.

This position sits within the Growth Studio, working closely with marketing, product, and branding groups. The primary goal is to craft exceptional motion experiences and translate complex technical ideas into clear visual narratives through collaborative problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Establish and refine the company's motion design strategy for its products, website, and brand identity.
• Create engaging web animations, micro-interactions, and product visuals that enhance user experience.
• Produce premium motion graphics and visual assets for marketing campaigns, social platforms, YouTube, and the official site.
• Develop and maintain motion design principles, guidelines, and reusable animation systems.
• Manage end-to-end projects independently while coordinating with various departments.
• Design both motion and static graphic elements to reinforce the brand's visual language.
• Implement efficient web animations using modern technologies like animated SVGs, Lottie, and WebM.

Requirements

• At least five years of professional experience in graphic or motion design, either in an agency or in-house setting.
• Demonstrated ability to produce motion, interaction, and animated visuals that align with established brand identities.
• Self-driven and proactive work style with a strong focus on precision and detail.
• Skill in explaining design choices and communicating complex concepts clearly.
• Mastery of industry-standard tools, specifically Figma and the Adobe Suite.
• Fluent English communication and presentation abilities.
