IQVIA AG seeks an Associate Director of Pharmacovigilance in Switzerland to lead offshore service delivery, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive strategic PV operations.

Responsibilities
- Direct the offshore service delivery team to guarantee high-quality support for global Pharmacovigilance initiatives.
- Provide strategic guidance to the PV department, encouraging a mindset of excellence and ongoing process improvement.
- Manage the identification and documentation of Adverse Events and Product Quality Complaints.
- Ensure all activities comply with regulatory standards and that reports are submitted to governance authorities on time.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate PV activities smoothly into broader business operations.
- Create and refine PV processes and procedures to boost efficiency and effectiveness.
- Evaluate team performance regularly, offering coaching and development opportunities to staff.
- Participate in proposal development and RFP responses to support business growth in the PV sector.
- Keep abreast of the latest Pharmacovigilance regulations and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Extensive background in Pharmacovigilance, including deep knowledge of Adverse Event and Product Quality Complaint identification and reporting.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively within global, cross-functional environments.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and guidelines specific to Pharmacovigilance.
Nice to have
- MBBS and MD qualifications are highly preferred.
- Prior experience managing global PV projects and offshore service delivery.
- Familiarity with Pharmacovigilance databases and software tools.
- Strong skills in people and project management.
