IQVIA AG seeks an Associate Director of Partnership Finance to lead financial planning, accounting, and strategic analysis for regional functions, ensuring compliance and driving business results through expert partnership.

This position directs financial planning and accounting practices, including budgeting, costing, and long-range forecasting, for mid-sized market or regional functions. The role partners with business leaders to provide subject matter expertise and direction on financial and accounting issues, translating strategy into proactive plans that enable successful business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Translates business partner and client market strategies into proactive plans to achieve business results.
  • Ensures all financial transactions are recorded, measured, and reported in compliance with GAAP, internal corporate policies, government regulations, and local business requirements.
  • Develops specific business metrics to support timely and actionable information flow for daily operations and long-term strategic planning.
  • Leads or supports high-profile financial negotiations arising during service delivery.
  • Builds and maintains strong collaborative relationships with the Business Development team and Senior Functional Leadership, including Therapeutic Area Heads.
  • May develop pricing strategies, policies, and analysis.
  • Provides monthly financial reporting to relevant constituencies.
  • Assists in developing commercial offerings, including payment terms, schedules, Bonus/Penalty structures, and other client requests.
  • Monitors spending, provides insight, and offers early warnings to ensure achievement of business financial targets.
  • Identifies and monitors areas of risk and/or opportunity and their financial impact on the business.
  • Provides timely and value-added risk assessments to the business for new and existing clients, offering commercial recommendations and solutions to senior management.
  • Partners externally with client Finance and Outsourcing counterparts, and internally with Pricing, Operations, Finance, and Contracts.
  • Negotiates, reviews, and provides financial accrual reporting as requested by the client.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in business analysis, accounting, and finance.
  • Knowledge of financial systems.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as strong leadership and focus.
  • Proven record of results working with senior management.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to translate business issues into financial requirements.
  • Technical proficiency with financial application software is essential.
  • High level of integrity and self-confidence.

Nice to have

  • Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Financial Management is preferred.
