Associate Principal Analytics & Commercial Strategy, Global Advisory Services

IQVIA AG seeks an Associate Principal Analytics & Commercial Strategy professional in Basel to lead high-impact consulting engagements for life sciences clients, focusing on strategic, technological, and operational challenges.

This position serves as a trusted advisor to life sciences clients, helping them navigate complex strategic, technological, and operational challenges. The role focuses on shaping and delivering high-impact consulting engagements for VP+ stakeholders, acting as a key point of contact and providing intellectual leadership to both clients and delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams in designing, developing, and delivering client solutions
• Act as the primary client contact and ensure satisfaction through post-engagement follow-up
• Maintain clear communication across projects and within the team
• Support the creation of intellectual property for future use
• Oversee proposal preparation and modifications, ensuring bid integrity
• Identify and develop new business opportunities and follow-on work
• Provide strategic direction and advice to clients and delivery teams
• Contribute to and review client reports and presentations
• Coach and mentor junior team members

Requirements

• 7-10 years of professional experience in insights and analytics within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector
• Strong focus on Go-to-market and commercial strategy
• Proven analytical, interpretative, and problem-solving abilities
• Experience and commitment to the life sciences or healthcare industries
• 2-3 years of project management or leadership experience in multi-country strategic consulting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage large or multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience working in multi-disciplined teams
• Proven track record of building relationships with senior managers and executives
• Fluency in English (spoken and written)
• Right to live and work in Switzerland
