PwC seeks a Senior Associate or Assistant Manager for its Audit TIS practice in Zürich, focusing on US GAAP audits and SOX testing for non-financial services clients.
This position sits within the Assurance line of service, specifically in the Audit - Trade, Industries & Services (TIS) practice. The team supports business growth by establishing trust and delivering value through rigorous US GAAP compliance and SOX testing. Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of group and local audits for clients in non-financial services sectors, from planning through completion.
- Conduct internal controls testing for SOX compliance in alignment with current PCAOB standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with international teams and clients, ensuring clear communication across different regions.
- Integrate remote team members effectively into local engagement groups to ensure cohesive collaboration.
- Utilize digital tools, data analysis software, and automation solutions to structure, visualize, and present actionable insights.
Requirements
- A university degree in accounting or a closely related discipline.
- Completion or active pursuit of the US CPA certification (or an equivalent credential).
- Three to five years of recent experience working at a public accounting firm.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, US GAAS, IFRS, PCAOB regulations, and SOX requirements.
- Professional proficiency in English.

- Working knowledge of German, French, or Italian.
