Senior Associate – IFRS Audit (Asset Management)

PwC in Zürich seeks a Senior Associate for IFRS Audit within Asset Management. The role involves leading audits for a major private equity client, ensuring compliance, and coordinating global teams.

This position supports clients in navigating complexity to gain a competitive edge. The role is embedded within a technology-driven, people-focused network that assists clients across audit, assurance, tax, legal, workforce, deals, and consulting functions.

Responsibilities

• Direct the planning, execution, and finalization of audit engagements covering IFRS, US GAAP, and Lux GAAP for a prominent private equity client.
• Maintain strict adherence to compliance standards during all stages of the engagement.
• Manage collaboration with international and shared service teams spanning Europe, the USA, APAC, and other global regions.
• Promote effective teamwork and clear communication channels.
• Deliver tangible value to clients and internal teams while advancing personal professional development within a dynamic, motivated group.
• Enhance stakeholder management abilities by tackling complex projects and special assurance assignments.
• Develop leadership capabilities through consistent, constructive feedback from peers and coaches.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP accounting frameworks.
• Practical experience working with large, publicly listed multinational corporations.
• Three to four years of experience overseeing and supporting end-to-end, cross-border audit engagements in an international setting.
• Minimum of three years working with Shared Services or Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) entities.
• Strong analytical reasoning and the capacity to manage multiple stakeholders independently.
• Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to coach and develop team members within a global audit framework.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in German.
