Jet Aviation seeks a B2 EASA Licensed Avionics Engineer in Basel to perform maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on advanced aircraft while ensuring strict safety and quality standards.

This hands-on position requires a safety-focused professional who takes pride in executing precise work. The engineer will manage avionics repairs, modifications, and diagnostics within their license scope, ensuring all tasks meet rigorous delivery and quality benchmarks.

Responsibilities

  • Perform, oversee, and verify maintenance activities strictly within the scope of the B2 license.
  • Record all work details in SAP and adhere to established deadlines.
  • Comply with all safety protocols, EHS standards, and internal company procedures.
  • Maintain daily updates for job cards, time sheets, and relevant communications.
  • Identify potential issues early, report defects, and submit hazard or proactive safety reports.
  • Work closely with team leads, supervisors, and project groups.
  • Assist colleagues and take on additional duties to support team success.

Requirements

  • Hold a valid EASA Part-66 B2 license.
  • Possess at least one type rating for Dassault Falcon, Gulfstream, Airbus, or Boeing aircraft.
  • Have a minimum of two years of experience as an Aircraft Avionics Technician.
  • Hold a technical diploma, such as an associate degree or a three-year technical education.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of avionics systems and aircraft maintenance documentation.
  • Understand EASA regulations, aviation authority standards, and release processes.
  • Be proficient in SAP ERP or similar systems, as well as Microsoft Office tools.
  • Have good technical English skills, including the ability to interpret AMMs.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Cabin IFE/CMS and communication systems.
