AMAC Aerospace seeks a Senior B2 EASA Licensed Avionics Engineer for on-site work in Basel. The role focuses on certifying maintenance tasks for Airbus aircraft within a 145 organization.
This position serves as certifying staff within an AMAC 145 maintenance organization. The role is multifaceted and carries significant responsibility in an exclusive operational environment.
Responsibilities
- Act as certifying staff within the AMAC 145 maintenance framework.
- Execute both routine and non-routine task cards.
- Carry out related operational duties.
- Diagnose, repair, inspect, and rectify flight-related issues.
- Document all work performed in compliance with relevant manuals and regulations.
- Coordinate with internal 145 MRO and Part 21 PO shops regarding maintenance matters.
- Travel away from the home base to assist customers during Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations.
Requirements
- Five years of practical experience in base maintenance.
- Valid European EASA Part-66 Category B2 license, plus two to three years of experience as Certifying Staff.
- A318/A319/A320/A321/A330/A340/A350 type rating with at least three years of experience as Certifying Staff on these aircraft types.
- Fluent proficiency in English.
