B2 EASA Licensed Avionics Engineer Bombardier

AMAC Aerospace seeks a B2 EASA Licensed Avionics Engineer for its Basel facility. The role focuses on certifying maintenance tasks for Bombardier Challenger and Global aircraft within a 145 organization.

This position serves as certifying staff within AMAC’s 145 maintenance organization. The role is multifaceted and carries significant responsibility in an exclusive operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as authorized certifying staff for the AMAC 145 maintenance organization.
• Execute both routine and non-routine task cards.
• Carry out related operational duties.
• Diagnose, repair, inspect, and rectify flight-related issues.
• Document all work performed in strict compliance with applicable manuals and regulations.
• Coordinate with internal 145 MRO and Part 21 PO shops regarding maintenance matters.
• Travel away from the home base to provide customer support during Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations.

Requirements

• Possess a valid European EASA Part-66 Category B2 license.
• Have at least five years of practical experience in base maintenance.
• Demonstrate 2–3 years of experience as Certifying Staff on Challenger 300/350 or Challenger 604/605/650 aircraft types.
• Show a minimum of three years of experience as Certifying Staff on Global 5000/5500/6000/6500/7500 aircraft types.
• Be fluent in English.
