The company seeks a Junior BI Consultant for a remote role in South Africa. The position focuses on managing and implementing data warehouse projects while supporting clients from initial sales through full deployment.
This position centers on the project management, design, and execution of complex data warehouse initiatives. The consultant will guide clients through the entire lifecycle, starting with pre-sales activities and continuing through organization-wide implementation.
Responsibilities
- Independently develop and deploy advanced consulting solutions.
- Assist with business development, client retention, and proposal preparation.
- Oversee project management tasks on-site at client locations.
Requirements
- A completed degree in business informatics or a related discipline.
- Early-career experience in business intelligence or data management.
- Strong proficiency with DWH and ETL tools within Microsoft, Snowflake, TimeXtender, Qlik, or Talend ecosystems, deployed on-premise or via MS Azure and AWS.
- Fluency in both German and English.
- Willingness to travel and adapt to changing schedules.
Nice to have
- Prior consulting background is beneficial.
- Familiarity with visualization platforms like PowerBI, Qlik, Jedox, or Cubeware.
