Blue Yonder WMS Specialist (m/w/d)

Kuehne + Nagel seeks a Blue Yonder WMS Specialist in Moehlin, CH, to optimize warehouse systems and bridge operations with IT within its Contract Logistics team.

As a member of the National Information Systems Expert Team in Switzerland, this position supports the Contract Logistics division by designing and refining logistics solutions. The specialist acts as a vital connection between operational needs and IT capabilities, ensuring efficient goods movement across multiple client sites.

Responsibilities

• Address system questions and deliver initial support, escalating issues when necessary.
• Guarantee that Blue Yonder (JDA) Warehouse Management and Transportation platforms operate at peak performance.
• Execute system projects involving Warehouse and Transport Management environments, including the integration of third-party applications and service providers.
• Evaluate and streamline workflows tied to current systems while participating in solution architecture.
• Develop custom Data Warehouse reports and structures.
• Organize and lead training sessions and workshops for end-users.
• Execute testing procedures for new features and regression checks.
• Update and maintain current system process documentation.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in configuring Blue Yonder WMS (JDA Discrete).
• Solid professional experience in warehousing or contract logistics sectors.
• Strong analytical mindset paired with a structured, independent work style.
• Proven ability to solve problems effectively while maintaining a customer-focused and cooperative attitude.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Working knowledge of SQL and Moca.
• Prior experience providing 1st Level Support.
