Mettler Toledo seeks a Team Lead and Transformation Specialist in Nänikon to strengthen its European logistics hub. The role focuses on team coordination, process optimization, and digital transformation within the supply chain.
This position supports the European logistics hub that handles worldwide service operations and product import/export. The role aims to enhance the Supply Chain team in Nänikon-Greifensee by improving operational efficiency and team performance.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily team operations, including workload allocation, priority management, and issue resolution to ensure quality standards and service level agreements are met.
- Provide clear performance tracking through straightforward reporting on key metrics, trends, and exceptions to aid decision-making without adding unnecessary complexity.
- Develop team members through structured feedback, targeted training, and career growth discussions.
- Serve as the main point of contact for internal clients and cross-functional partners across commercial, planning, customer service, and finance departments.
- Document and streamline workflows, establish standard operating procedures, and reduce process variability, errors, and onboarding time.
- Analyze workflow bottlenecks and recommend practical solutions to remove, simplify, or automate low-value tasks.
- Lead change management efforts with both analytical planning and hands-on execution, from initial problem definition through implementation and stabilization.
- Collaborate with department leadership to shape the future operating model, including team structure, role design, and capability development.
- Identify automation opportunities using RPA, workflow tools, or AI, and partner with IT teams to implement these solutions.
Requirements
- Multiple years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or shared services operations, including at least five years in a team leadership or coordination role.
- Practical experience with SAP, specifically in order management and fulfillment using SD and MM modules.
- Strong proficiency in English.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Power Automate, Power Apps, UIPath, and Jira, along with experience collaborating with global IT teams to translate business needs into user stories, manage change requests, and deliver solutions in a global environment.
- Knowledge of German is considered an advantage.
