Business Analyst – Basel

Optravis LLC in Basel seeks a Junior Business Analyst to support transfer pricing and client needs for multinational companies. The role involves analyzing business data, mapping corporate structures into software, and providing client training and support.

This position supports multinational clients by analyzing their business data and translating complex corporate structures into Optravis’ software solutions. It also involves assisting with transfer pricing matters and delivering client support across various industries.

Responsibilities

• Work with project managers to analyze business data from multinational companies and map their corporate structures into Optravis’ software.
• Collaborate with developers and external stakeholders to design, test, and improve application features.
• Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of software releases and data packages.
• Provide advice and ongoing support to clients on transfer pricing matters across different sectors.
• Train and guide clients on how to effectively use the company’s software.

Requirements

• Fluent written and spoken German (C1) and English (C1).
• Completed degree in Controlling, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
• Strong analytical abilities and the capacity to manage tasks in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Highly reliable and accountable, with a focus on precision, quality, and goal-oriented work.
• A valid EU/EFTA/Swiss passport is required.

Nice to have

• Some prior experience in a Business Analyst, Accountant, or Controller role.
