Business Continuity Specialist

SUMMIT RECRUITMENT AG seeks a Business Continuity Specialist in Solothurn to manage IT risk processes and support business continuity initiatives on-site.

This position focuses on the implementation and ongoing management of IT risk frameworks. The specialist will support business and IT continuity efforts through project assistance, risk assessments, testing, and training activities.

Responsibilities

• Execute and oversee IT risk procedures, ensuring proper tool usage and documentation upkeep.
• Assist in shaping the IT risk strategy by defining evaluation and acceptance thresholds.
• Embed a robust risk management system into IT-centric business workflows.
• Update the IT risk management manual and perform risk evaluations when necessary.
• Work with stakeholders and data protection officers to enforce IT security standards.
• Create and maintain knowledge bases and regulatory guidelines.
• Support business and IT continuity projects by conducting risk analyses, tests, and training on emergency procedures.

Requirements

• Prior experience as an IT administrator, risk or compliance officer, or in a comparable position.
• Hands-on expertise in developing and deploying IT emergency protocols and contingency plans for diverse IT services.
• Fluent written and spoken communication skills in both German and English.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of business continuity management standards such as BSI100-4, 200-4, ISO 22301, 27005, or 31000.
