IT Support Specialist

SUMMIT RECRUITMENT AG is hiring a Mid-level IT Support Specialist in Zug for a hybrid role. The position focuses on technical support for SaaS and on-premise solutions, requiring fluency in German and English.

This position sits within the IT Operations & Infrastructure team. The specialist acts as the main point of contact for both external customers and internal staff, handling technical questions and incident management.

Responsibilities

• Act as the initial responder for technical inquiries regarding software solutions, including both SaaS and on-premise environments.
• Manage and resolve support tickets via Jira and Zendesk, addressing recurring problems autonomously.
• Forward complex issues to second-level support or development teams, ensuring thorough documentation is provided.
• Maintain clear and transparent communication with customers regarding the status of their tickets.
• Assist with the onboarding of new clients and deliver training sessions to users.

Requirements

• A commercial or technical qualification combined with a minimum of two years of experience in IT support, operations, or customer service.
• A strong service-oriented attitude and a willingness to collaborate across different departments.
• The ability to work in a structured, precise manner while remaining calm under pressure, supported by clear communication skills.
• Fluent proficiency in both German and English.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of French or Italian languages.
