IT On-site Supporter (100%)

Vontobel seeks an IT On-site Supporter in Zurich to provide technical support for hardware and software, manage IT incidents, and assist with multimedia setups in a collaborative, innovation-driven team.

This position belongs to the Technology On-Site team based in Zurich. The role focuses on addressing complex technical challenges and implementing positive changes. Success in this role depends on collaborating with a team that prioritizes innovation and ongoing improvement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical assistance for hardware and software to end-users.
• Diagnose and fix technical problems while advising internal clients at various locations.
• Handle tickets within Incident and Service Request Management workflows.
• Prepare IT devices to meet established workplace standards.
• Help install and maintain multimedia equipment in meeting spaces.
• Take part in moving employee workstations, mainly within Zurich.
• Support hardware lifecycle tracking and inventory control.
• Guarantee the global availability and distribution of IT supplies, including stock management.
• Work on IT projects, deployments, and daily operational duties.
• Offer technical assistance for multimedia needs during events.

Requirements

• Finished an IT apprenticeship or hold an equivalent credential.
• Solid background in IT support, preferably in the financial sector.
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Windows client systems and Office applications, especially Windows 11 and M365.
• Understanding of networking, IP telephony, and printing solutions.
• Experience with multimedia and conferencing tools for presentations and virtual calls.
• Fluency in both German and English.

Nice to have

• Basic French skills or knowledge of another language is beneficial.
