Commercial Banking Assistant - Russian speaking

Michael Page seeks a Russian-speaking Commercial Banking Assistant in Wollerau to support Relationship Managers with client servicing and compliance tasks in a fast-paced environment.

This position supports Relationship Managers in the daily servicing of commercial and private clients. The role involves coordinating with multiple bank departments and is designed for a proactive professional who thrives in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist Relationship Managers with managing client relationships.
• Address client inquiries and requests efficiently and independently.
• Prepare, update, and maintain client files and Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation.
• Manage account opening, maintenance, and closure processes in line with internal policies and regulations.
• Support periodic client reviews and ongoing due diligence activities.
• Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance across internal systems.
• Track outstanding documentation and follow up with clients as needed.
• Identify and escalate potential risks and compliance concerns as part of the first line of defense.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as Compliance, Operations, Payments, and Risk Management.
• Participate in departmental projects and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Completion of a banking apprenticeship (EFZ), vocational baccalaureate, or a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in the banking sector.
• Fluency in both Russian and English.
• A valid Swiss work permit or authorization to work in Switzerland.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in Commercial Banking, Corporate Banking, Client Coverage, or other client-facing banking roles.
• Background in supporting Relationship Managers and handling client onboarding and KYC documentation.
• Proficiency in additional languages.
