Commercial Controller (m/f/d)

Ferrum Management Services AG in Schafisheim, CH, seeks a Commercial Controller (m/f/d) for a full-time hybrid role. The position involves financial data consolidation, profitability analysis, and supporting management decisions through monthly reporting and simulations.

This role focuses on consolidating financial data from subsidiaries into a unified reporting structure, integrating production and cost data to assess global gross margins, and monitoring profitability across the entire value chain. It also includes analyzing revenue, margins, and commercial expenses to spot trends, preparing management reports, and running simulations for new market initiatives or international changes, while ensuring budget adherence.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate financial data from all subsidiaries into a standardized group reporting format
• Combine production and cost data from company plants to generate a global view of gross margins
• Track profitability across the entire value chain, from production costs to final sales price
• Analyze revenue, margins, and commercial expenses to detect trends and deviations
• Prepare monthly financial reports to support management decision-making
• Run data-driven simulations for new market initiatives or changes in the international structure
• Monitor commercial expenses against approved budgets to maintain financial discipline

Requirements

• A degree in Business Administration with a focus on Controlling or Finance, or an equivalent qualification
• Several years of experience in business controlling within an industrial setting, including technical and financial knowledge
• Understanding of the full value chain, covering production, logistics, and sales
• Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably SAP
• Strong communication skills and analytical thinking abilities
• High standards for data accuracy and integrity in financial reporting
• Fluent German and English for collaboration with international teams
• Willingness to travel
