Compliance Monitoring Analyst - Task Force (6-month contract)

Lombard Odier IM seeks a Compliance Monitoring Analyst for a 6-month contract in Geneva. The role focuses on AML, CTF, and tax compliance monitoring within the Swiss private banking sector.

This position ensures strict adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies concerning Anti-Money Laundering, Counter-Terrorist Financing, and Tax Compliance. The analyst mitigates financial crime risks by monitoring transactions, performing customer due diligence, and conducting ongoing screening processes.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve alerts generated by transaction monitoring systems.
• Perform overnight screening of client accounts.
• Conduct qualitative analysis on specific Anti-Money Laundering issues.
• Execute additional ad hoc control measures as needed.
• Participate in the account closure process.
• Provide support and advice to the Payment Processing team regarding queries.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Law, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in financial services, preferably in AML monitoring within Swiss Private Banking.
• Solid understanding of the Swiss regulatory landscape.
• Fluency in both English and French.
• Legal residency in Switzerland.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of taxation, particularly regarding the monitoring of tax offenses.
• Proficiency in additional languages.
