Compliance Monitoring Analyst - Task Force (6-month contract)

The Compliance Monitoring Analyst supports Lombard Odier’s Task Force in Geneva on a 6-month contract, focusing on AML, CTF, and tax compliance monitoring to mitigate financial crime risks.

This position supports the firm’s Task Force in Geneva by overseeing adherence to regulatory standards and internal protocols concerning Anti-Money Laundering, Counter-Terrorist Financing, and tax compliance. The role centers on evaluating transaction data, executing customer due diligence, and running continuous screening procedures to reduce exposure to financial crime.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve alerts generated by transaction monitoring systems.
• Conduct overnight screening of client accounts.
• Perform qualitative assessments on specific Anti-Money Laundering matters.
• Execute additional ad hoc controls, such as those related to cash operations.
• Participate in the account closure process.
• Provide support and guidance to the Payment Processing team regarding inquiries.

Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, or Law, or demonstrate equivalent academic or professional qualifications.
• Possess 3 to 5 years of experience in financial services, preferably within an AML monitoring capacity in Swiss Private Banking.
• Demonstrate a solid grasp of the Swiss regulatory landscape.
• Be fluent in both English and French.
• Maintain residency in Switzerland.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with taxation, particularly regarding the monitoring of tax offenses.
• Proficiency in additional languages.
