SR Technics in Zürich seeks a Composites Specialist to repair and inspect composite structures. The role requires technical apprenticeship, proven repair experience, and English proficiency.
This position is part of a global and dynamic organization, focusing on the maintenance and modification of composite materials within a structured, safety-first environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and modifications on composite structural parts
- Inspect components to assess damage and determine necessary actions
- Execute tasks strictly following approved repair schemes, specifications, and technical drawings
- Record all work steps and inspection outcomes accurately
- Maintain high standards for quality and safety compliance
- Implement 5S principles and contribute to productivity enhancements
- Coordinate closely with Quality Assurance and Engineering teams
Requirements
- Completion of a technical apprenticeship (e.g., polymer technologist, sheet metal worker)
- Demonstrated experience in composite repair
- English language proficiency at least at B2 level
- Basic computer and IT literacy
- Availability to work in a two-shift system
