SR Technics is hiring a Welding Technician in Zürich for a full-time, on-site role. The position focuses on welding complex engine components and requires TIG expertise and German language skills.
This position is part of a global and dynamic organization. The technician plays a key role in the manufacturing and rework of engine parts, ensuring high standards of quality and safety while supporting process development.
Responsibilities
- Execute complex welding tasks on engine components, handling both pre- and post-processing steps with various welding techniques.
- Perform mechanical rework and straightening of parts as needed.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new welding processes.
- Conduct self-inspections and maintain accurate documentation of work performed.
- Strictly follow all safety protocols and quality standards.
- Uphold 5S workplace discipline to maintain an organized environment.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Completion of a metalworking apprenticeship.
- Demonstrated experience with TIG welding.
- A precise and responsible approach to work.
- Strong team spirit and commitment to company goals.
- Availability to work in a two-shift system.
- Very good German language skills (minimum B2 level).
- Basic English proficiency (minimum A2 level).
- Competence in using MS Office applications.
