Provisur seeks a Senior Controller in Flawil, CH, for a full-time hybrid role. The position involves leading financial accounting, cost control, and acting as a finance partner to plant management, with responsibilities in reporting, compliance, and strategic planning.

This role is responsible for overseeing financial accounting and reporting, cost controlling, and serving as a strategic finance partner to plant management. The Controller ensures accurate financial data, supports operational decisions, and drives financial planning and analysis within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial accounting and reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, US GAAP compliance, management reporting, and reconciliations
• Maintain compliance with internal controls and coordinate audits, tax, VAT, and regulatory requirements
• Manage cost controlling and manufacturing finance, covering inventory, standard costing, variance analysis, and capital expenditure support
• Develop and lead forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning with actionable financial insights
• Serve as a key finance partner to plant management and support operational decision-making
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration and support finance initiatives such as ERP implementation and process improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• 5 to 10 years of progressive experience in accounting or controlling within a manufacturing setting, preferably international
• Strong understanding of local statutory reporting and US GAAP standards
• Practical experience with ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Business Central
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and the ability to analyze and communicate complex financial data
• Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
• High attention to detail, structured work approach, proactive business partnering mindset, independent work style, and strong professional integrity
