Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Senior CPSO Manager for Launch Excellence in Boudry, CH. The role leads global brand launch orchestration, cross-functional team leadership, and strategic readiness in a hybrid setup.
The company is looking for a senior professional to direct enterprise-wide launch activities for new products. This position ensures that global brand introductions are executed on schedule, remain compliant, and align with strategic objectives by coordinating cross-functional teams and managing readiness across all phases.
Responsibilities
- Directs a matrix team to manage and carry out all tasks related to new product introductions.
- Collaborates with global and local departments including Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Planning, and Commercial partners to guarantee timely and compliant product rollouts.
- Creates and oversees launch scenarios, monitors project plans against targets, and drives cross-functional focus to hit critical milestones.
- Identifies potential risks, keeps stakeholders updated, and escalates major issues while leading global execution plans and contingency discussions.
- Prepares reports on key project events, performance metrics, and executive updates tailored to specific products.
- Serves as a core participant in Strategic Launch Forums, supporting global brand strategy leads with active input.
- Builds and sustains strong connections with strategic organizations such as SPLs, Commercial teams, and market partners to ensure clear communication.
- Contributes to operational effectiveness initiatives linked to new product launch processes and assists with other launch planning projects as needed.
- Leads or supports the creation and rollout of business processes, documentation, KPIs, and management reporting tools to embed best practices.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of manufacturing and packaging workflows, regulatory landscapes, and supply chain operations.
- Familiarity with financial concepts, including P&L, budgeting, and commercial business terminology.
- Proven ability to influence and engage partners outside direct functional areas to achieve results.
- Capacity to lead with flexibility, adapt to shifting priorities, and maintain focus.
- Skill in working efficiently under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
- Cultural awareness and comprehension of global business practices.
- Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills for interacting with executive leadership like VPs or GMs.
- University degree in science, ideally with a concentration in Packaging, Operations, or Supply Chain.
- Minimum of eight years of experience in launch planning.
- Background in project management paired with robust problem-solving capabilities.
- Track record of resolving conflicts, making timely decisions under pressure, and negotiating effectively.
- Experience in team leadership, managing cross-functional stakeholders, and developing team capabilities.
