Garda Capital Partners seeks a Mid-level Cybersecurity Analyst in Geneva to manage vulnerability remediation, identity access, and incident response operations.
This position is central to the firm's daily security posture, focusing on operational tasks such as vulnerability management, identity and access governance, and incident triage. The analyst collaborates with internal stakeholders to enforce security policies and supports broader security initiatives led by the security architect.
Responsibilities
- Oversee vulnerability management by tracking findings, prioritizing fixes, and reporting on remediation progress until closure.
- Perform regular reviews of user and privileged access to ensure systems adhere to least-privilege principles.
- Support Identity and Access Management (IAM) workflows, including account provisioning, deprovisioning, and policy enforcement.
- Monitor security operations, conduct routine investigations, and handle day-to-day security tasks.
- Develop and manage security awareness programs, including phishing simulations, and track employee engagement results.
- Triage security incidents reported by the managed detection and response provider, driving them to resolution or escalating as needed.
- Take ownership of recurring analyst-level duties to support the wider security team.
- Build strong working relationships with colleagues across Garda’s global offices.
- Execute security-related projects and initiatives as assigned by the security architect.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in infrastructure or security roles.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
- Experience with source control and pipeline security operations (GitSecOps).
- Strong grasp of core security concepts, including network protocols, firewalls, common attack vectors, and risk assessment.
- Detail-oriented mindset with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Nice to have
- Prior experience working within the financial services sector.
- Professional certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISM, or CISSP.
