Responsibilities
- Aligns product-specific data aspects with the broader corporate data strategy.
- Builds and maintains a network of data owners and stewards across divisions to guarantee high-quality Product Master Data.
- Creates and oversees procedures to maintain data integrity and resolves data issues through cross-functional collaboration.
- Holds data owners responsible for the accuracy and completeness of their respective datasets.
- Ensures local data quality assurance efforts support globally defined metrics.
- Implements global data management standards and adapts them into domain-specific guidelines.
- Manages projects and activities to ensure milestones are met within approved budgets.
- Drives continuous improvement in Product Master Data management practices.
- Facilitates cross-functional communication to align priorities and decision-making.
- Develops training materials and documentation as required by the organization.
Requirements
- Over 10 years of experience in master data management, with a strong focus on Product Master Data.
- Deep understanding of the manufacturing sector and its core business processes.
- Strong project management abilities to lead initiatives focused on data quality, security, privacy, and ethics.
- Excellent facilitation and conflict resolution skills to navigate differing viewpoints across teams.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including senior leadership.
- Fluent English (B2) and German (C1) language proficiency.
