Sika Gesellschaften in der Schweiz seeks a Mid-level Data Engineer in Zürich to design and optimize HR data solutions, pipelines, and products for analytics and AI use cases.
This position is responsible for establishing the groundwork, creating data solutions, and enhancing data products within the first six months. The engineer will need to master Sika's data architecture, HR technology environment, and Data Mesh strategy while collaborating closely with HR, HRIS, People Analytics, and Data & Analytics teams.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate current HR data resources to find ways to enhance scalability, automation, and overall quality.
- Create, build, and upkeep scalable ETL/ELT pipelines that connect data from SuccessFactors, SmartRecruiters, Rise Up, and other enterprise systems.
- Develop reusable data models and products to enable reporting, analytics, and AI applications.
- Enforce data quality, monitoring, security, and governance protocols to guarantee trusted and compliant HR information.
- Provide reliable data products for workforce analytics, talent acquisition, learning, engagement, and upcoming AI projects.
- Improve pipelines and data models to boost performance, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Support the development of Sika's global data platform, engineering standards, and analytics capabilities.
