Director - Cloud, Data & AI (CD&AI) - Generative AI

PwC seeks a Director for Cloud, Data & AI in Zürich to lead client engagements and advise on Generative AI adoption strategies.

The company is looking for a senior leader to manage relationships with both external clients and internal PwC teams. In this capacity, the individual will act as a trusted advisor, guiding organizations through the complexities of implementing artificial intelligence solutions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct workshops and discussions with stakeholders to pinpoint AI use cases, understand business challenges, and align tailored solutions.
• Drive client digitization progress by collecting requirements and recommending cutting-edge technological solutions.
• Identify and mitigate risks linked to AI deployment, including concerns around data privacy, security, and model performance.
• Stay current with and apply best practices in technology, data engineering, analytics, and consulting methodologies.

Requirements

• More than a decade of professional experience with artificial intelligence technologies, including machine learning, deep learning, advanced statistics, and modeling, with recent focus on Generative AI, Agentic AI, and ML engineering.
• Mandatory proven go-to-market experience within the Swiss market, demonstrating a strong grasp of local business dynamics and needs.
• Fluent English proficiency and willingness to travel within Switzerland and occasionally abroad.

Nice to have

• A master’s degree or PhD in artificial intelligence, computer science, physics, mathematics, or related natural sciences and engineering fields.
• Prior experience in consulting.
• Proficiency in German or French.
