Director - Cloud, Data & AI (CD&AI) - Generative AI

PwC seeks a Director for Cloud, Data & AI (Generative AI) in Zürich to lead client engagements, advise on AI adoption, and drive strategic AI solutions across the Swiss market.

This leadership position focuses on guiding clients through the complexities of artificial intelligence adoption, transforming intricate challenges into competitive advantages. The role operates within a technology-driven, people-centric network that supports momentum across audit, assurance, tax, legal, workforce, deals, and consulting services.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for client projects and internal PwC teams, acting as a central leader.
• Provide expert guidance to clients on navigating AI implementation challenges.
• Conduct workshops and stakeholder discussions to pinpoint AI opportunities, assess business hurdles, and customize solutions.
• Drive client digitization efforts by collecting requirements and recommending cutting-edge technological solutions.
• Identify and mitigate risks linked to AI deployment, including data privacy, security, and model performance issues.
• Stay current with and apply best practices in technology, data engineering, analytics, and consulting methodologies.

Requirements

• Master's degree or PhD in artificial intelligence, computer science, physics, mathematics, natural sciences, or engineering.
• More than a decade of professional experience with AI technologies, including machine learning, deep learning, advanced statistics, modeling, and recent expertise in Generative AI (Agentic AI, GenAI cloud technologies, ML engineering).
• Demonstrated success in project delivery and exceeding expectations, supported by a strong network in the AI sector.
• Proven leadership experience in AI roles with a history of delivering impactful AI solutions.
• Mandatory go-to-market experience in the Swiss market, with a deep understanding of local business dynamics and needs.
• Fluent English proficiency and willingness to travel within Switzerland and occasionally internationally.

Nice to have

• Prior consulting experience is advantageous.
• Proficiency in German or French is beneficial.
