Zühlke Group seeks a Principal Data and AI Consultant in Schlieren to lead high-impact projects, drive strategy, and mentor teams across the full project lifecycle.
This position focuses on ensuring that Data & AI initiatives deliver tangible value. The consultant will oversee the entire project journey, from initial sales and strategy through to delivery and client relationship management, while acting as a key thought leader for the discipline.
Responsibilities
- Guide clients in realizing their data and AI goals through strategy, transformation, custom solutions, and platform development.
- Manage complex consulting engagements by steering delivery, maintaining quality standards, and aligning customer expectations.
- Bridge the gap between technical delivery teams and business stakeholders to foster effective collaboration.
- Assist consultants and business developers throughout the sales process, from early positioning to proposal creation.
- Represent the discipline as a thought leader by publishing content and speaking at industry events.
- Create reusable assets such as templates, demonstrators, and packaged offerings to boost team efficiency.
Requirements
- A university degree from a top-tier institution in business or STEM fields.
- Over eight years of combined experience in consulting and Data & AI work.
- Solid consulting skills including communication, project management, workshop facilitation, sales, and a pragmatic, output-driven approach.
- Experience in specific verticals like banking, insurance, life sciences, or manufacturing, with deep knowledge of industry value chains and Data & AI trends.
- Expertise in data and AI strategy, governance, and management, including structuring and overseeing initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with Data & AI implementation projects from concept to production.
- Proven ability to inspire, build, and lead interdisciplinary teams.
- Fluency in both German and English, with excellent written and verbal skills.
- An assertive, proactive, and enthusiastic personality.
- A customer-centric mindset with the ability to communicate across disciplines and seniority levels.
- A results-oriented approach capable of winning over stakeholders and decision-makers.
