Eraneos seeks a Principal Data & AI expert in Lausanne to lead business development, client relationships, and consulting mandates across the Romandie market, driving AI-driven transformation.
This position operates at the crossroads of client impact, market expansion, and leadership within the Romandie region. The role focuses on cultivating senior-level partnerships, defining transformative AI and Data strategies, and converting strategic opportunities into impactful consulting mandates that deliver lasting business value.
Responsibilities
- Spearhead business development and sales efforts for AI and Data consulting projects throughout the Romandie area.
- Establish trusted advisor connections with C-suite executives, positioning AI as a key driver for business transformation.
- Identify, shape, and secure complex AI and Data opportunities, guiding them from initial client discussions through proposal creation to project launch.
- Oversee high-impact consulting engagements from strategy to implementation, aligning AI initiatives with broader business and organizational transformation programs.
- Foster the growth of the local Data & AI practice by mentoring, developing teams, enhancing market visibility, and collaborating closely with Eraneos experts across Switzerland and Europe.
Requirements
- Extensive background in consulting, business transformation, and AI/Data advisory, with the seniority to operate credibly at the executive level.
- Proven track record in selling, developing, and leading consulting engagements focused on AI, GenAI, Data, or digital transformation.
- Ability to engage senior stakeholders confidently and position AI as a concrete business and transformation agenda.
- Experience shaping or leading large-scale transformation initiatives in complex environments, with clear ownership for outcomes, stakeholder alignment, and delivery quality.
- Strong expertise in current AI trends, LLM ecosystems, GenAI use cases, and enterprise adoption challenges.
- Fluent French at a minimum C1 level.
- Professional English proficiency.

- Experience in Public Sector, Utilities, Transport, or other regulated industries.
- An existing network in the Swiss Romandie market.
- Experience working in Swiss consulting environments.
