Director, Surgery Q&C Operational Performance and Productivity Lead.

Johnson & Johnson seeks a Director for Surgery Q&C Operational Performance and Productivity in Zug, CH. This leadership role oversees quality governance, operational performance, and strategic planning for MedTech Surgery platforms.

Serving as a key member of the Surgery Q&C Leadership Team, this position provides strategic and operational decision support to the VP of Quality & Compliance. The role is responsible for governing operational performance, productivity, and quality standards across internal and external manufacturing sites and functions within the MedTech Surgery division.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality governance and performance management processes for strategic external manufacturing partners.
• Oversee End-to-End Surgery Q&C KPI performance management and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Facilitate the Q&C strategic planning process for the Surgery division.
• Manage the annual OGSM and business planning cycle, ensuring alignment with the broader strategic plan.
• Govern the portfolio of Q&C programs and projects to ensure quality, compliance, productivity, and customer outcomes.
• Drive communication and change management for strategic programs and standard work adoption.
• Champion a Credo-based environment by living and promoting Credo values.
• Exercise decision-making authority for quality-critical manufacturing items, such as CAPAs.
• Lead quality governance forums with strategic collaborators to ensure timely resolution of quality, compliance, and manufacturing performance issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Business, Engineering, or a Technical/Science field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality, manufacturing, or project management within the Medical Device or other regulated industry.
• Fluent proficiency in English.

Nice to have

• Post Graduate degree preferred.
• Experience with available AI tools and citizen developed applications.
