Tsmg seeks a Driver/Data Collector in Bellinzona, Switzerland, for a full-time contract role. The position involves collecting high-quality visual data using vehicles equipped with 360° cameras and lidars, following assigned routes across public areas, with a focus on image quality and consistency.

This role supports a project collecting visual data of streets, points of interest, and public spaces across EU countries to enhance a leading online mapping platform. Data is captured using specialized vehicles and stored on onboard SSD drives for later processing.

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality visuals of streets, public spaces, and key points of interest using vehicle-mounted equipment.
• Operate vehicles fitted with 360° cameras and lidars to collect comprehensive image data.
• Follow assigned routes covering public streets, commercial zones, and points of interest.
• Return to specific locations during optimal weather to ensure the best image quality.

Requirements

• Must hold a valid EU-issued driver’s license.
• Must have a clean criminal and driving record.
• Requires at least 5 years of driving experience.
• Experience in professional driving roles such as taxi, delivery, or logistics is needed.
• Proficiency in English and the local language is required.
• Familiarity with GSuite tools including Gmail, Google Spreadsheets, and Google Forms.
• Basic understanding of vehicle mechanics.
• Demonstrated responsibility, reliability, and professionalism.
• Familiarity with the operational area is expected.
