Driver / Data Collector in Chalais, Switzerland

Tsmg seeks a Junior Driver / Data Collector in Chalais, Switzerland, to capture street-level images using 360 cameras for a global online map. The role requires driving assigned routes, reporting progress, and using digital tools for communication. Contract is full-time, onsite, and lasts 3–6 months.

This position involves collecting high-quality visual data of streets, points of interest, and public areas across EU countries using vehicles equipped with 360-degree cameras. The data supports improvements to one of the world’s most widely used online maps. Routes focus on commercial and historical areas, with repeat visits in poor weather to ensure image quality. The project runs for 3 to 6 months and covers various collection zones.

Responsibilities

• Drive designated routes to capture images of streets, landmarks, and public spaces.
• Operate vehicles with 360 cameras to record and save surrounding visuals.
• Report on data collection progress and any issues encountered.
• Use digital tools such as Gmail, Google Forms, Google Meet, and WhatsApp for communication and updates.

Requirements

• Hold a valid driver’s license.
• Demonstrate strong driving skills and maintain a clean driving record.
• Be available for a minimum of 3 months.
• Show a high level of responsibility and self-motivation.
• Pay close attention to detail and enjoy driving during standard business hours.

• Basic knowledge of car mechanics or operation.
