Driver / Data Collector in Landquart, Switzerland (for Chur area)

Tsmg seeks a Junior Driver/Data Collector in Landquart, Switzerland, to capture street-level images using 360 cameras for a global map enhancement project. The role involves driving assigned routes in the Chur area, with a 3- to 6-month contract and onsite work.

This position supports a project to improve one of the world’s most widely used online maps by collecting high-quality visual data from public streets and key locations across EU countries. Data collectors will follow specific routes, focusing on commercial and historical areas, and may revisit sites due to weather conditions to ensure optimal image quality. The project runs for 3 to 6 months and covers various collection zones.

Responsibilities

• Drive designated routes to capture images of streets, points of interest, and public areas.
• Operate vehicles fitted with 360-degree cameras to record and save surrounding visuals.
• Report on data collection progress and any issues encountered during assignments.
• Use digital tools such as Gmail, Google Forms, Google Meet, and WhatsApp for communication and updates.

Requirements

• Hold a valid driver’s license.
• Demonstrate strong driving skills and maintain a clean driving record.
• Be available for a minimum commitment of 3 months.
• Show a high degree of responsibility and self-motivation.
• Pay close attention to detail and enjoy driving during standard business hours.
