Driver / Data Collector in Obervaz, Switzerland (for Chur area)

TSMG seeks a Driver/Data Collector in Obervaz, Switzerland, to capture street imagery and data for mapping projects. This full-time onsite role requires a valid license and strong driving skills.

The company is conducting a mapping initiative across European regions to improve online map accuracy. Data collectors are tasked with visiting specific commercial and historical zones to gather high-quality visual information where automated systems cannot operate. The engagement is scheduled to last between three and six months.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicles fitted with 360-degree cameras to photograph surroundings.
• Manually gather data by counting objects, recording video, capturing audio, and scanning locations.
• Revisit sites multiple times if weather conditions compromise image quality.
• Follow a standard Monday through Friday schedule of eight hours daily, totaling forty hours per week.
• Be prepared to work weekends if weather-related delays occur during the week.

Requirements

• Hold a current, valid driver's license.
• Demonstrate safe driving habits and maintain a clean driving record.
• Commit to a minimum duration of three months for the project.
• Possess strong communication abilities and accurate reporting skills.
• Be proficient with digital tools including Gmail, Google Forms, Google Meet, and WhatsApp.
• Show a high degree of personal responsibility and attention to detail.
• Be self-driven and comfortable working within standard business hours.
