TSMG seeks a Driver / Data Collector in Prato, Italy, to capture high-quality street imagery using specialized vehicle equipment for a leading mapping platform.
The company is expanding its field data collection efforts across EU countries to improve a major online mapping service. In this role, you will drive assigned routes to record comprehensive visual data of public spaces, commercial zones, and points of interest, ensuring the highest quality imagery for the platform.
Responsibilities
- Drive pre-assigned routes to capture high-resolution visuals of streets, public areas, and key landmarks.
- Operate vehicles fitted with removable 360° cameras and lidars to record surrounding environments.
- Return to specific locations during optimal weather conditions to guarantee superior image quality.
- Focus on public thoroughfares, commercial districts, and notable points of interest as directed.
Requirements
- Possess a valid driver’s license issued by an EU member state.
- Have a clean criminal and driving record, verified through background checks.
- Demonstrate at least five years of driving experience.
- Showcase professional driving background, such as in taxi, delivery, or logistics sectors.
- Be fluent in English and the local language of the operation area.
- Be comfortable using GSuite applications, including Gmail, Google Spreadsheets, and Google Forms.
- Understand basic vehicle mechanics.
- Be familiar with the local geography and area of operations.
