E2E Process Engineer

Lonza seeks a Mid-level E2E Process Engineer in Visp, CH, to lead strategic capital projects within the ADS Platform, ensuring technical precision and operational readiness in GMP manufacturing.

This position is based entirely on-site in Visp, Switzerland, where the engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive technical precision in medicine manufacturing. The role focuses on supporting strategic capital projects across the ADS Platform by developing and implementing robust engineering and operational solutions.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the execution of strategic capital investment initiatives throughout the ADS Platform.
• Create project charters, define business requirements, establish scopes, and formulate execution strategies.
• Align cross-functional groups to ensure seamless integration of project deliverables.
• Oversee project timelines, governance structures, and progress reporting mechanisms.
• Draft business cases, secure funding approvals, and prepare materials for portfolio decisions.
• Direct technical assessments, process engineering tasks, and operational readiness activities.
• Manage risks, changes, costs, schedules, and stakeholder expectations to guarantee successful project outcomes.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Chemical, Process, Pharmaceutical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Fluency in both English and German.
• Prior experience working in pharmaceutical, chemical, or other GMP-regulated manufacturing settings.
• Deep understanding of process engineering, facility design, GMP operations, and capital project execution.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the entire project lifecycle, from initial design through start-up and operational readiness.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and organizational capabilities.
• Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to convert strategic goals into practical engineering solutions.
