Project Engineer

CTC Resourcing Solutions AG seeks a Project Engineer for a 1-year onsite contract in Visp, Switzerland, to manage investment projects and process optimizations within a global pharmaceutical leader.

The company is a global market leader in producing and supporting active pharmaceutical ingredients for chemical and biotechnology sectors. This one-year onsite position in Visp involves developing technical concepts, advising clients on key decisions, performing detailed engineering, securing funding, and overseeing project execution.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute small to medium-sized investment projects that directly affect production or business outcomes.
• Conduct process engineering calculations and optimize existing plant operations.
• Perform feasibility studies for new facilities or existing plant rebuilds, including cost estimation and scheduling.
• Support production adjustments and new product launches.
• Develop technical solutions and evaluate their pros and cons.
• Procure and organize internal or external resources to ensure timely project completion.
• Identify and implement optimizations in process flows.
• Apply professional knowledge and skills in daily tasks.

Requirements

• Swiss or EU citizenship, or a valid working/residency permit.
• Technical college degree or bachelor’s/master’s degree in a relevant field.
• 3 to 10 years of experience in a GMP environment.
• Fluency in both English and German.

• Degree in mechanical engineering, process technology, bio-engineering, or chemical engineering.
