Engineering Planner

The company seeks an Engineering Planner in Visp to coordinate maintenance and troubleshooting for facilities and equipment within a GMP-regulated environment, requiring SAP PM expertise and bilingual skills.

This position focuses on organizing and overseeing maintenance operations for facilities, utilities, and equipment under Good Manufacturing Practice regulations. The role involves working closely with production and workshop teams to ensure smooth operational continuity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update maintenance schedules for all relevant infrastructure and machinery.
• Monitor task completion timelines and report any potential delays.
• Organize staffing, resources, and outside contractors as needed.
• Handle the ordering and distribution of spare parts and necessary materials.
• Generate reports on key performance indicators and maintenance efficiency.
• Guarantee that all maintenance work adheres to safety standards and GMP compliance.
• Identify opportunities to enhance planning and scheduling workflows.

Requirements

• Hold a technical or engineering degree, such as an HND or HNC, or an equivalent qualification.
• Demonstrate prior experience in maintenance planning and engineering maintenance tasks.
• Possess a solid understanding of maintenance planning and scheduling methodologies.
• Have hands-on experience with SAP PM.
• Be fluent in both German and English.

Nice to have

• Previous work experience in pharmaceutical, GMP, or other highly regulated sectors.
