Engineering Planner

The company seeks an Engineering Planner to manage maintenance schedules and lead planning meetings. This onsite role in Switzerland requires SAP PM expertise and fluency in English and German.

This position focuses on organizing and overseeing maintenance operations to ensure equipment reliability. The engineer will coordinate weekly planning sessions and align maintenance activities with production needs.

Responsibilities

• Create and update schedules for both preventive and reactive maintenance work.
• Report any planned tasks that are falling behind schedule.
• Work with production teams and customers to guarantee equipment is available for servicing.
• Chair weekly maintenance planning meetings to resolve issues and track progress.
• Assign resources for scheduled activities, including hiring external contractors if needed.
• Order and distribute necessary materials, spare parts, and consumables.
• Produce and share reports on maintenance planning and delivery performance metrics.
• Regularly assess and refine planning workflows to boost efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• A degree or diploma in engineering or a related technical field.
• Hands-on experience in maintenance, preferably within pharmaceutical or GMP settings.
• Deep understanding of engineering maintenance procedures and scheduling techniques.
• Competence in using SAP PM software.
• Fluency in both English and German.
• Willingness to work full-time on-site in Switzerland.
