Project Planner (7010)

Senior Project Planner role in Valais, CH, for large pharmaceutical projects. Requires 10+ years’ experience, Primavera P6 expertise, and Swiss/EU citizenship or relevant permit. Onsite contract position.

This role focuses on managing and maintaining the master Primavera P6 schedule for large pharmaceutical projects, ensuring schedule quality, governance, and credibility throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Manage and update the master Primavera P6 schedule at multiple levels
• Track progress across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning using various tools
• Maintain schedule basis documents including deliverable and interdependency matrices
• Lead or support cross-functional planning sessions and integrate team inputs into the schedule
• Monitor schedule deviations and help develop corrective actions
• Report progress and key milestones to stakeholders
• Produce periodic schedule reports, critical path analysis, trending charts, and schedule evaluations
• Ensure schedule accuracy, governance, and reliability
• Participate in analysis of integrated schedules from all project disciplines
• Regularly review schedules with project team members to ensure data accuracy and timeliness
• Prepare reports following internal procedures and project management requirements
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Swiss/EU citizenship or valid working/residency permit required
• Degree or advanced degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum 10 years of experience as a project planner on large pharmaceutical projects
• Experience in plant engineering and scheduling
• Proven ability to manage and work in a multi-user Primavera P6 environment
• Skill in interpreting schedule data and communicating insights to senior leadership
• Experience in global project environments
• Background in pharmaceutical projects using Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning contracts

Nice to have

• Preferred: degree in Engineering, Science, Quantity Surveying, or Business Management
• Business-level fluency in German is beneficial
